It is intended for use by CBs that carry out audit and certification of management systems. It gives conventional necessities for such CBs performing review and confirmation in the field of value, ecological and different types of management system. These CBs can be non-governmental or governmental (with or without regulatory authority) and they do not need to offer all types of management system certification.
